Free end reflection pulses
Free end reflection pulses are caused when the medium will have no finish that is fixed and the pulse will move freely once left the medium, when the reflection pulse is free end it will go upward as its last movement in the medium this has been experimented several times throughout history with the same result, if you experiment with a rope the last movement the rope will do is to go upwards.

It´s good the example about the rope but what does it mean "when the medium will have no finish that is fixed"? I mean, when do you know it has finish or not?
